Collect the bed of transformer

For the manufacture of the bed, you need to do the following:

1. First you need to purchase or make a basis. Its size is determined by the sizes of the mattress. For self-making, it is necessary to purchase a slab laminated chipboard and cut the desired parts.
2. The base can be made up of several different fragments on the texture and color of fragments, selected in harmonious and connected by special profiles. In the folding bed, the base is also a cabinet facade.
3. The cutting of chipboard should be ordered at the enterprise specializing in this service. This operation is performed using high-breeding (about 3000 rpm) circular saw with small teeth.
4. For fitting some parts, an electrolovka is used, equipped with a sawdust with small teeth. Cut the chipboard at the maximum speed of the electric motor: in this case, the chips will be less.
5. In terms of base, you should purchase shock-absorbing bent lamellas (orthopedic type) with a frame of the appropriate size. They will be collected in a single plane and installed on the bars.
6. The details of the base of the bed and its side sides are connected using confirmates. To do this, in the outlined places, the holes are drilled with a diameter of 6.4 mm, and the confirmation itself screws up a screwdriver with a hexagonal nozzle. The confirmation cap is closed by a plastic plug.
7. For greater strength, we use metal corners to connect parts from chipboard.
8. From the inside to the side walls of the bed, the timber is mounted with a cross section of 40 × 40 mm. It will serve as a support of the design of orthopedic lamellae.
9. Stay mattresses, and fasten the fasteners that do not allow the beds spontaneously open.

IMPORTANT: Block (rolling part of bed) should be designed as easy: it is necessary to avoid using unnecessary parts.

One of the main conditions for choosing a place where the folding bed transformer will be installed - the strength of the wall. If this is a double bed transformer - the wall near it should be from a monolithic concrete or folded in two bricks. Otherwise, it will not withstand the load transmitted by the movable part of the transformer.
